How about this one? We're seeking multiple Welders to work onsite at Great Dane Trailers in Kewanee, IL.
All openings are temp-to-hire and will convert to permanent employment after a 60 day no-miss probationary period.
Job Title:
Welder Pay Rate:
$17.
20/hour Shifts:
Monday-Friday (Some OT on Saturday s Mandatory) 1st Shift:
6:
00am - 2:
30pm 2nd Shift:
3:
30pm - 12:
00am Job Duties:
Fabricate assemblies that are used in building a trailer by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
Supply area with various materials that are used in building assemblies by using an overhead crane, hand / powered carts, or lifting and carrying materials by hand.
Set the welding machine parameters, including the gas, voltage, amperage and wire speed.
Makes minor adjustments to welding equipment as needed.
Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
Sets up, assembles, and tack- welds parts.
Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Observe all safety and security procedures.
Perform other routine duties as necessary.
Work Environment:
Some position may involve occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
There's a lot of bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, up and down ladders, crawling in and out of trailers.
There is a wide variety of duties as a general labor.
You could be assigned different jobs and rotate based on production needs.
The facility is not temperature controlled, it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
